Residency and Registration Information

Once again this year, Mannheim District 83 will be having all parents prove residency before they can register their children. Residency verification will take place on:

Saturday, May 17, from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
and on
Wednesday, May 21, from 3:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Both residency verifications will take place at Mannheim Middle School. No child will be allowed to register until they have proven residency.

Registration fees will remain the same for the 2008 – 2009 school year:

$25 for students in kindergarten
and
$50 for students in grades 1 – 8.

After June 20, a late fee of $75 will be assessed per child. After July 18, an additional late fee of $100 will be assessed per child. Even if you think you might qualify for a fee waiver, you must prove residency and register prior to June 20 to avoid the late fee. In addition, if you think you might be moving from the area this summer, you are encouraged to prove residency and register prior to June 20. Should you move prior to the beginning of school, your money will be refunded.
