Westdale School
Veteran's Day Ceremony 2009
On Thursday, November 12th, Westdale School held their annual Veterans' Day Ceremony. Students, parents, and staff members enjoyed listening to patriotic music played by the Leyden Marching Band. Westdale also welcomed Sergeant First Class Jonak, who is an Assistant Principal of Mannheim Middle School. Mr. Jonak spoke to the students about life in the military as well as his experiences during his recent year-long deployment in Afghanistan. |
