Apple users accessing a server from home: you will be able to connect to D83 servers by clicking on the above Mac links when using the Safari browser, and continue with the same procedure you use in school. If you are using FireFox as your browser, follow these directions to configure FireFox first: FireFox set-up directions.
PC users accessing a server from home: you will be able to
connect to the server by clicking on the above PC links.
(A one time
only adjustment needs to be made in your Internet Explorer
application: On the Tools menu in Internet Explorer,click Internet
Options, click the Advanced tab, then
uncheck the Show friendly HTTP error messages check box, and
finally the Apply button.)
When asked for your user name, insert your school name before a backslah (\) before the name you use to log into the storage. For example, if you are a Roy teacher, enter roy\lastnamefirstname in the User Name box, then enter your password, as you normally would, in the Password box.
