Good Evening Families. This is Shannon Cribaro, Director of MECC with our weekly message for March 19, 2021
Thanks for a great first week of Hybrid/ remote learning. Thank you for being patient with us as we do a quick screening (temperature check, questions, and sanitizing hands) on your child prior to entering the building each day. Parents we ask for your help in making sure your child is symptom free and if your child Is sick or is not felling like themselves please keep them home.
Monday 3/22 is your supply packet pick up day. Since we have students in the building, your packet pick up will be at the main office the hours will be 9-11 and 1-3 to come and get your child’s remote learning packets.
Just a reminder Parent and students must be masked in the parking lot and on school grounds. Please be sure to stand by the green ribbons when in line they are measured out for proper social distancing. Please be sure to review the symptoms of Covid (paper that was sent home to all of our Hybrid learners and if your child has any symptoms please be sure to keep them home and let us know.
Registration paperwork for MECC returning students for the 21-22 school year was sent home via the mail. We must receive your completed registrations packets by March 25th- Because the mail is taking longer if you have not mailed them back yet – Please drop them off at the MECC in the blue bin outside the office door if you have not mailed them back yet. We greatly appreciate it!
If you call the office and we are unable to answer the phone right away, it means we are either on the phone, helping parents or students, please leave us a message and we will get back to you as soon as we listen to your message. We check the voicemail and emails throughout the day.
Parent teacher conferences are coming up in March prior to spring break. Parents will be able to sign up for conferences up until 3:00pm on 3/22.
Please view the tutorial videos that are posted in Seesaw and if you need more support please contact your child’s teacher.
We will be holding Virtual Preschool screenings For April and May. Please contact the MECC office for your screening packet. If your child has a sibling at home between the ages of 2- 4 years of age. A screening must take place to see if your child qualifies for the Pre-K program. We are filling up spots for the remainder of this year and for next year.
Thank you for your support and partnership.
