*Information for families that selected Hybrid Learning beginning February 4th, including busing information, schedules, safety protocols, and other important information has been placed in the mail to families. You should receive it by Monday, February 1st. If you do not receive by Monday’s mail, please give us a call at 847.455.5020. Please be reminded that students who will be in the building during hybrid instruction will need to be in school uniform. Blue pants, skirt, or shorts with a white collared shirt make up the District 83 school uniform. Blue or white sweatshirts with no logos or sweatshirts with only school logos are acceptable. Thanks!
*A reminder that 7th grade students that chose Hybrid Learning begin on Thursday and 8th grade students on Friday this week. School begins at 8:00 am promptly! We are excited to see the students for in-person learning! Thanks!
*Friday is a Spirit Day at Mannheim Middle School. It is Hat Day, and students can wear their favorite hats to school and we encourage participation for students that continue to do eLearning as well. We are one community at Mannheim Middle School.
*Parents: We continue to work on ways to increase the number of students who have their computer cameras on during class times each school day in a virtual environment. Because of the efforts of parents and teachers, we saw a noticeable increase in student participation this past week. Let’s keep the momentum and continue to encourage students to meet the expectation of “Cameras On”!!!! Thanks for your support!
*Also Parents: There is an open District 83 School Board position at this time. There is an official notice on the District website at www.d83.org or you can call the main office secretary, Daria Bernardi at 847.455.4413 x1223 for more details about the opportunity to represent the community on the Board of Education.
*Lastly, the Mannheim Builder’s Club is hosting “Be My Valentine Bingo” from 5:00 - 6:00 pm on Friday, February 12th. I will email the registration information and also post it on the D83 Mannheim Middle School Facebook page. The goal is 100 families to participate in the evening of fun! Thanks!
