Parents: The District is developing details about computer device drop off at the end of May. It looks like the dates will be May 21, 24, 25, and 26. A specific schedule by grade and letter of the alphabet is near completion and will be communicated in the next week.
8th Grade Parents: A Graduation “Drive Through” set of instructions with a map was mailed out this week with details about the drive through days on Monday, May 10th and Tuesday, May 11th between 2:30 pm and 5:30 pm at the middle school. We hope everyone begins to get excited and decorates their car with banners and window paint for the drive through. Also 8th grade parents, the link to sign up for an opportunity to take a picture in the auditorium will come out this week Wednesday or Thursday. I will send out a separate email to only 8th grade parents with instructions...we will also send the email to all students to make sure everyone has access to the link and instructions one way or another.
Friday is a Spirit Day with the theme of Mannheim PRIDE Day. All students are welcome to wear their favorite hats and shirts with the blue and white that is the Mannheim Falcons! It is a great time to show your school spirit!
Parents: If your child will not be attending face to face instruction on a day your child is assigned, please remember to call the office to indicate they will not be in school. It allows us to make sure your child is safe by being physically at home. Thanks!
Finally, the entire district is discussing, planning and organizing information related to school opening in August. With the information that we have right now, we are planning for a total and complete opening in the fall. There will likely be some adjustments to parts of the day, like lunch periods, but we are eager to continue planning for seeing all our students return to school in August of 2021. Complete details will likely be released this summer, but please know we are working very hard towards the return of all Mannheim Middle School Falcons!
