Good Evening Scott Families,

This is Lisa Schaffer, Principal of Scott School, with the weekly message for the week of November 15th.

This week we begin full remote learning for all students. We return to the original A/B remote schedules from the start of the school year. If your child changed teachers they will return to their original homeroom teacher they had at the beginning of the school year.

This week is American Education Week.  We would like to thank all of our staff, school board members, and parents for your continued support through the pandemic.  Everyone has gone above and beyond to ensure that our students are receiving a high-quality education.  Students are encouraged to find a way to thank a staff member this week.

Family Reading Night is officially celebrated across the state of Illinois on the third Thursday in November and this year it takes place on November 19th. Family Reading Night is an evening when families can read together. To celebrate Family Reading Night, teachers will be reading stories aloud online. You can access these videos through a link on ClassDojo on Thursday, November 19th. Happy Reading Spartans.

Thanksgiving break begins Wednesday, November 23 through November 27th. 

Return on Monday, November 30th. Remote Learning

Lunch and Breakfast sacks are available at door 28.
