March 14, 2021 Weekly Message

Good Evening Scott Families,

This is Lisa Schaffer, Principal of Scott School, with the weekly message for the week of March 14th.

We are excited for tomorrow. We welcome the new hybrid students to join us at school for in -person learning for the 4th quarter.  The doors open at 8:45am for the morning session and 12:45pm for the afternoon session. All students need to come to school wearing a mask and the school uniform.

Next week, we will have virtual parent and teacher conferences on Tuesday, March 23rd and Thursday, March 25th from 4:30pm-8:00pm.  You should have signed up for your conferences on PowerSchool.  Last Thursday, a code to sign up for conferences was sent to your email address and texted to your phone.  If you have not signed up for conferences, please do so today.

During the conference nights, we will have Kindergarten registration.  If you have a child who will attend Kindergarten in the Fall, please come to one of the conference nights to prove residency and register your child for Kindergarten.  For everyone’s safety, we ask that you come on your own and that you do not bring children with you.  We will only allow one parent in the school to register.  Please bring your child’s original birth certificate and proof of residence.  The registration hours are from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM. Please enter through door 6 off of Lyndale street.

Parents please remember to take the 5 Essentials Survey:

1. Parents- 5 Essentials Survey (English)  5 Essentials Survey (Spanish) when you have a  chance. The link can also be found on the district webpage at
