We have a small but important ask for all Roy families. If you are unfamiliar with the PTA or would like to learn more about what it does, please consider attending one of our monthly meetings, in person or virtually, as listed on our school calendar.

Growing our Roy PTA is extremely important to our school community. We understand that work, student's activities, and everyday family responsibilities can make it difficult to attend meetings or volunteer regularly. Participating does not mean committing to every meeting or event. Whether you attend one meeting, volunteer for one activity, share an idea, or help behind the scenes, every contribution makes a difference.

Our PTA helps provide special events, student activities, family experiences, and additional resources for our school. To continue offering these opportunities, we need more families to become involved. Every family brings valuable ideas, talents, and perspectives—and we would love to have your voice represented.

Please consider joining us in whatever way works best for your family. Together, we can continue making Roy School a wonderful place for our students, staff, and families!

Preschool Screening Information

Mannheim School District 83 Preschool Screening flyer for District 83 children ages 2-1/2 to 5 years old who reside in attendance boundaries and are not current MECC students. Screening is by appointment only, takes approximately 60 minutes, and determines program eligibility. Children are screened in speech/language, hearing/vision, motor skills, concept development, and social development. Dates/times: 08/20/26 (8:30–3:30 pm), 09/02/26, 10/07/26, 11/04/26, 02/03/27, 03/03/27, 04/07/27, and 05/05/27 (all 4:00–7:00 pm). To schedule an appointment or ask questions, call (847) 455-3611.
