Lots of reading fun is heading home this week! Please check with your students as they should be bringing home an author visit book order form (pink) for our April author visits, a yellow Nothing Bundt Cakes reading log to earn a free bundlet, and a green March calendar to earn a free pizza from Pizza Hut. The pink book order form is due (with cash or check written to Roy School) by Friday, March 8. K-2 is meeting author and illustrator alex Willan. 3rd-5th is meeting author Sarah Aronson. These visits will be April 9 &10 during the school day. The yellow reading log for Nothing Bundt cakes is turned into the bakery in elmhurst once your student completes their reading of 400 minutes. Reading themselves, listening, ebooks, and all forms of reading count! For the green Pizza Hut calendars, students color in a bunny for each day that they read 20 minutes or more. They will turn it in after spring break to receive their coupon from us in the Roy LMC. You can count your time for both the yellow and green reading logs. Double-dipping is allowed :) Happy reading!

Roy 3rd & 4th grade artists have been hard at work on their ceramics. The bigger items are from Mrs. Mitra's class, and then the smaller pieces are a mix of Mrs. Leathers' class, Mrs. Wilkinson's class, and Mrs. Ficarella's class. Way to go Roy artists!
