Our 4th graders have been working hard on building chariots to be driven by the Sphero robot for our annual Chariot Challenge. This month and over Thanksgiving Break, students have some reading challenges to complete. The Fall Break Reading Challenge will go home Monday 11/20 or Tuesday 11/21 and students must do 10+ activities and have it signed by an adult and turned in by Dec. 1. This will earn them a chance to win a family 4 pack of tickets to Brookfield Zoo. We have 3 sets of passes to raffle off. Students who return their log by Dec. 1 have a chance to win.
The November calendar with the cats on it that says "Book It" is for students to read 20 minutes each night during November and turn it in on Dec. 1 to earn a coupon for a free personal pizza. Everyone who completes this will get a pizza coupon.

After reading a book for Native American Heritage Month about Cherokee customs and traditions called We Are Grateful, 4th grade students worked on making gratitude towers with index cards stating what they are grateful/thankful for during Maker Monday.
