The second annual Kindergarten Spring Sing was a huge success! Thank you to all the teachers for their hard work to prepare the students, and thank you to all the parents who came to support the students and teachers! It was such a fund event! #D83shines #RoyBulls

Feeling creative? Celebrate reading Stella Diaz Has Something to Say for One School One Book by creating an ocean project. Projects are very open ended, they just need to have an ocean theme. We will display them around Roy when they're turned in. Please return by May 17.

First grade had a beautiful day at the Chicago Botanic Gardens for their field trip on May 3. Thank you to the teachers and chaperones for helping make it such a memorable experience for the first graders! #RoyBulls #D83shines.

Hello Roy Families! The Roy PTA Meeting will be Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at 5:15 p.m. in the Library Media Center. Parents and guardians attending the meeting should park in the teachers parking lot, enter door #7, and take the first stairwell up to the Library Media Center. We hope to see you there!

We're a little past the halfway point in the book, so we wanted to share our plans for the end of One School One Book celebration! We have 2 options. You can do one or both! Option 1: create an ocean themed project at home to celebrate Stella's love of ocean creatures. Send it in to school the week of May 13 to display at Roy. Option 2: Join us to "chalk the walk in front of Roy on May 22 (late start day) at 9:45-10:15 am. We will have chalk and donut holes (to symbolize the meatballs Stella's family loves to eat together). If you're coming on May 22 please RSVP so we can have enough treats and chalk. Thank you!
