Teacher assignment letters and bus route information will be emailed out to families on August 7, 2024 after 4:00 p.m. Please be on the lookout for this exciting and important information!!
WELCOME BACK ROY FAMILIES!!!
Final registration for the 2024-2025 school year be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Roy School. Please enter/exit through door 28, located on the south side of the building closest to Roy/Dewey. Once entered, you will be directed to the Multipurpose Room to complete registration. Parking is available on Roy/Palmer, Roy/Dewey, and Roy/Lyndale. If you have questions on the registration process, please call the main at 847-451-2700 office prior to coming. Thank you!
The first day of school for the 2024-2025 school year is Wednesday, August 14, 2024. Students will attend from 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. that day.

As we prepare to begin the 2024-2025 school year in August, you may be starting your back to school shopping and wonder what supplies your student will need at Roy. The first page is in English, the second page in in Spanish. Please find your student's 2024-2025 grade level at the top and go down that column to see the number of each supply needed. If it is blank, your student doesn't need that item.

One more online registration help day at Roy, Scott, Westdale, MMS, and MECC on May 29, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and then from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Again, please bring your residency documents with you if you still need to prove residency.

Congratulations to all of our 5th graders who are moving on to the middle school! We had our first annual Fifth Grade Farewell assembly and it was a hit! Thank you to all the students, staff, and family members who helped make this possible!

Friday, May 24 is the last day of school. All students will be dismissed at 2:00 p.m. that day.
Tomorrow, Wednesday May 22 is a delayed start at 10:30am!
It is also our One School One Book celebration at 9:45am in front of Roy. If you signed up to come we will see you then!
The girls on the run service project for a local animal shelter runs until Wednesday! If you’d like to donate leashes, collars, treats or small poop bags you can send them in with your students or drop them off in the office!
