An image promoting a "Parent University" event on Internet Safety Resources, presented in both English and Spanish. The background shows a young child sitting up in bed at 2:47 AM, illuminated by the glow of a tablet they are using. The text provides the following event details: Date: March 26, 2026. Times: 6:00–6:45 p.m. OR 7:00–7:45 p.m. Location: Mannheim Middle School Media Center. Audience: All parents of PreK-8th grade students. Featured Resources: Logos for Bark for Schools and GoGuardian are displayed in the bottom left corner.

In order to help promote device and internet safety, the district provides access to the GoGuardian Parent Portal and Bark. These applications can help monitor all child(ren)’s school-issued device/account usage.

  • GoGuardian Parent Portal: This tool allows parents of students in Grades 3-8 to see their child’s browsing history on school-issued devices/accounts and provides the ability to pause internet access outside of school hours.

  • Bark: This service helps monitor all Prek-8th grade student devices/accounts for potential safety concerns, such as cyberbullying or online threats, and sends alerts to help keep their child safe across various digital platforms.

Parents/Guardians received emails from both of these companies with the information needed to log in and start monitoring school-issued devices.
