Mannheim District 83 is embarking on a new multi-year Strategic Plan that will help lead our district and all of our schools on a journey toward excellence with a focus on preparing our students for an ever-changing world. You will be hearing more about the Strategic Plan this year and how Scott will become even stronger in preparing our children to meet the challenges that will face as they move along in their educational journey.

Greetings, Spartan Community!

My name is Jorge Hervas, industrial engineer, bilingual educator, youth soccer coach, father, husband, and proud assistant principal at Scott School.

I have been part of the Spartan and the Mannheim District 83 Community since I moved from Houston, Texas to the Chicagoland area in 2012. I have been a bilingual teacher at Scott School for 8 years and had 2 wonderful years as a math and ELA teacher at Mannheim Middle School.

In my role of assistant principal, I am committed to help provide for students the best educational experience possible at Scott School, not only academically but also socially and emotionally.
