Good Morning, Spartans!
Today we are reminding you that you will ROCK THE TEST!!!
You’ve got this!

Good Morning, Spartans!
Today we are focusing on ways to remain calm and focused during testing. If you are feeling stressed during the test, simply focus on nothing but breathing and it will help you relax and focus.
Take a deep breath, go with the flow, just do your best, and show what you know!

Let's start this holiday season off with Festive Fridays!
Wear your most cheerful holiday swag every Friday until Winter Break.
Fridays: 12.2, 12.9, & 12.16
See attached flyer for more information.

Good Morning, Spartans!
Today we are focusing on using the best test taking strategies. You are fantastic problem solvers, so think- what’s the best answer. How do I know?
Dr. Seuss wrote, “You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose.”

It is almost time for volleyball tryouts! Students will need a physical before they try out. See the attached flyer for more information.

Good Morning, Spartans!
Next week we will be taking our winter MAP and aims tests. Each day we will focus on a way to help you rock the test.
Today we are focusing on making sure that you are rested and ready to test. Getting enough sleep helps your brain learn, perform, and problem solve. Also, be sure to turn off all screens (TV, computers, phones, tablets, and video games) at least 1 hour before bedtime.
Do you know what mammal sleeps the longest? It’s a koala. They sleep 20-22 hours every day.
School aged humans (like you) need to sleep between 9 and 12 hours every day. Make sure you rest for the test!
Ms. Boehm’s original Haiku:
On nights before tests
it is important to rest
so we are our best!

Good Morning, Spartans!
Next week we will be taking our winter MAP and Aims Tests. Each day we will focus on a way to help you rock the test.
Today we are focusing on setting goals and measuring success. Your teachers will take some time today to review your goals, so you can see how you grow.
Growth comes from setting your goals high and reaching for the stars!
