The leaves are beginning to turn orange, yellow and red, we must be in the month of October!
Thank you to all the parents that continue to submit daily student health certification. This is required every day.
We are excited to share our virtual Family Literacy Night Plans with you! The video link will be available from October 13th through October 20th. Students will receive a bookmark and a free book to kick off our literacy event. The bookmark will have a QR code. Please scan that code with a smart device to be taken to a link of teachers across the district reading their favorite picture book. We hope you and your families enjoy the videos and are inspired with new book ideas to promote literacy at home!
The grading period ends on October 15th so please have your child complete and turn in all of their work.
Our Virtual Parent Teacher conferences will be on October 26th and 28th during the hours of 4:30 PM - 8:00 PM. Your child’s teacher will send you information on how to sign up for conferences. You must have a PowerSchool account in order to sign up for conferences. If you have a PowerSchool account you can sign up for a conference using PowerPTC.

Friday, October 29th is an early release day, we dismiss at 12:00PM. We are still making decisions about Halloween costumes and activities. We will update you as soon as we have more information.
REMINDER from the Health Clerk:
The state of Illinois requires all students entering kindergarten have a medical, vision and dental exam. If you have not done so, please make sure to make appointments with your health care providers. All forms can be dropped off at Scott School between the hours of 9:00am and 3:00pm.
