Mannheim School District 83 proudly congratulates Board of Education President Mrs. Marianne Anderson and Vice President Mrs. Tammy Campeotto on receiving distinguished recognition from the Illinois Association of School Boards (IASB).
On Tuesday, October 6, 2026, both board members were recognized through the IASB Board Leader Recognition Program, which honors school board members for the time and effort they devote to professional learning, leadership development, and service to public education.
Mrs. Marianne Anderson, Board President, received the Legacy Board Leader recognition. This distinguished honor recognizes a board member who has achieved the Distinguished Board Leader level by earning at least 400 points through IASB learning and leadership activities and who has served 25 or more years on a school board.
Mrs. Anderson's recognition is a remarkable reflection of her 25 years of dedicated service, continued professional learning, and longstanding commitment to the students, families, staff, and community of Mannheim School District 83.
Mrs. Tammy Campeotto, Board Vice President, received the Distinguished Board Leader recognition, awarded to board members who have earned 400 points through continued participation in IASB events, professional learning opportunities, and leadership activities.
These accomplishments demonstrate the commitment of our Board of Education members to ongoing learning and effective school governance. Their investment of time, leadership, and service helps strengthen public education and supports the children and families of our amazing school district.
