A graphic titled "LIFE ARTS OVERVIEW" in large black and blue text on a white background. Below the title, there is a small photo of the Enger School mascot—a gray jaguar wearing a blue superhero costume with a red cape and mask. The text "Enger School" is printed in blue at the bottom of the image.

Life Arts is an important part of a student's week at Enger School. During Life Arts, students have an opportunity to work on self-help and life skills one day a week in our special Life Arts room! This includes the following:

  • Preparing a snack or meal

  • Pouring

  • Cutting

  • Spreading

  • Stirring

  • Setting the table

  • Wiping the table

  • Washing Dishes

  • Sweeping the Floor

  • Safely using kitchen appliances

  • Doing Laundry

These are just a few of the many things our students can learn during Life Arts. Life Arts is also the perfect time for fine motor tasks and holiday celebrations. Our curriculum, Unique Learning System, also provides fun recipes and activities each month that relate to the current theme and study. It's safe to say Life Arts is a favorite amongst students and staff!
