8th Grade Narrative Writing Spotlight: Our 8th graders are hard at work editing and revising their narrative short stories and this round of writing comes with a fun twist! Each story features Mr. Jingles, the beloved capybara class pet, (from Ms. Oakley's ELA class) as a central character. Students are learning how to strengthen their writing by refining dialogue, enhancing descriptive details, and clarifying plot structure. We’re proud of their creativity and the effort they’re putting into making their stories shine!
