We had a beautiful butterfly release today! The students were so excited to watch them fly up into the sky.

Today in Ms. Colon's class they read the story, "It Looked Like Spilt Milk." By Charles G. Shaw. After the story, each student made their own version of a "cloud" by using a straw to blow white paint on their paper.

It’s a beautiful day to read a book outside.

Happy Earth Day!

Growing knowledge (and some green thumbs!):
Our students are getting their hands dirty (in the best way possible!) this week by learning all about gardens. They're discovering the magic of watching something grow from tiny seed to beautiful bloom.

It's spring time at the MECC!
Students have been busy creating spring art and engaging in spring activities.

On Thursday, we will have a parent workshop on "How to use visuals at home."
We hope to see you here!

Today, we learned all about the Solar Eclipse!

Welcome back MECC Lion Cubs! Spring break is over. It is great to have you back in school!

We hope everyone has a safe and fun spring break. School resumes on Wednesday, April 3, 2024.

Check out all the amazing artwork students created for the transportation study.

Thank you to the Maintenance Department and Mrs. Pros for putting together this wonderful experience called "Touch a Truck." The students had an amazing time exploring all the vehicles.

UPS came to visit us today! They taught us all about their job as a UPS driver, and we got to see the delivery truck. Each student received a UPS coloring book to take home.

This month, we have been learning all about transportation, construction and community workers.

The MECC is ready for St. Patrick's Day!
