Standards-Based Reporting

Teaching and learning in Mannheim School District 83 are aligned with the Illinois Learning Standards, and it is our goal to inform families as to how their children are performing in relation to these standards.  A school’s primary method of communicating achievement to families is the student report card.  In the 2017/2018 school year, students in Gr. K-5 received a new look standards-based report card that is based upon our new Illinois Learning Standards and provides a more detailed look into how a child is performing in relation to those standards. In 2019 students in grades 6-8 began receiving a new standards-based report card.
