Welcome to Mannheim School District 83!
Welcome, Staff, Families, and Community Members to Mannheim School District 83!

My name is Diego Giraldo and it is an honor and privilege to lead as your Superintendent of Schools for Mannheim School District 83. I welcome you to an amazing school year full of new learning opportunities for each student.  I look forward to working alongside our staff, students, families, and community, ensuring a high-quality public education for every child.

I am very proud of our district and community and acknowledge our long-standing traditions and culture of excellence.  I commit myself to the Board of Education and the District’s Vision “All children can and will learn” and Mission “We seek to develop a passion for learning in a creative, safe, and nurturing environment.”  Together, we will continue our journey moving forward with progress and dedication to student learning.

This Entry Plan Report provides the findings as a result of a comprehensive Entry Process (English) (Spanish) with the purpose to understand the state of the school district. The synergistic design of this Entry Plan Report offers a framework identifying specific actions to launch and develop the District’s Strategic Vision as we move forward.  My goal is to empower our identifiable academic culture maximizing the unique assets of our community and enhancing student learning.

My promise is to work with all stakeholders, continue our work together, and embrace our diversity and development.  We look forward to a new year focused on Student Achievement.
